Film & dialogue (DGHFF)
Films and dialogue on current global health issues and society.

About DGHFF
The festival was founded in 2017 by a small group of volunteers. The project has grown in scope and has been taken under the wing of two closely related organisations: the Netherlands Society for Tropical Medicine and International Health (known as NVTG), and the Knowledge Centre Global Health (KCGH) since 2021.
Through film, we aim to support the effort of improving health and reducing health inequalities for people around the world by connecting with a wide audience. We aim to inspire, to start conversations and to encourage action.
The films we feature tell stories about planetary health, youth activism, sexual and reproductive health and rights, refugee and migrant health, and other emerging and impactful issues.
