This recurring symposium provided space for critical reflection on the colonial past of Dutch medical knowledge institutions and its spillover into contemporary global health practices, education and research.

The annual Care for Newcomers symposium brings together healthcare professionals, researchers and policymakers around accessible, appropriate and equitable care for people with a migration or refugee background.

KCGH co-organised ECTMIH 2023 in Utrecht, where researchers, health professionals and policymakers came together to exchange knowledge on global health, with an explicit focus on equity, inclusiveness and decolonial perspectives.
