From personal resilience to resilient communities and adaptive health systems
How do we remain resilient when working in complex and constantly changing global health contexts? And how can we contribute to communities and health systems that are able to adapt to new challenges?
From 29 October 2026, we invite you to take part in our new, free six-part Masterclass on resilience.
During this Global Health Rounds Masterclass, we will explore resilience at various levels: from personal and professional resilience to resilient communities and adaptive health systems. Through reflection, practical examples and case studies, participants will examine how resilience emerges in practice, is put to the test and can be strengthened.
The sessions begin with personal reflection and resilience within communities, before moving on to broader challenges facing health systems, including pandemic preparedness and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). In the final session, these perspectives come together and we explore how health systems can learn, adapt and become more resilient in the long term.
Practical information
The masterclass consists of six online sessions, which will take place from 29 October to 3 December 2026, every Thursday from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm (CET) via Zoom. The sessions will be delivered in English and participation is free of charge.
